Can't believe we only have 2.5 more days left! Your kids are almost 3rd graders! Here is a look at our week: Reading: We've continued reading from the chapter book The Year of Billy Miller and also read a few fun read alouds: A Piglet Named Mercy and Finding Winnie. Writing: To end the year, the students have been working hard at creating their own Twisted Fairy Tale story. They have loved creating their own characters and putting a twist on well known fairy tales. Math: We finished up our chapter on shapes and fractions and took our test. Then we reviewed all that we learned in math this year to prepare for our end of the year math test that we will take on Monday.
Bible: We continued learning about the Fruits of the Spirit. We learned this week that: Patience = I will wait without complaining Kindness = I will be nice to everyone Goodness = I will do what is right Faithfulness = I will not quit Important Information: 1.) Next week is our last week of school! I will be sending home all our leftover supplies throughout the week.
