Sorry for the delayed news! I actually traveled back to America to visit my family last minute as my grandfather's health is in critical condition, and he is currently in the ICU. So I am writing from Michigan, USA! Happy Christmas Break! We had a great party on Friday. Thank you to all the parents who brought in food and helped with our party! Writing: We wrote what we would like in our stockings. We also wrote about our imaginary elf friends and what types of personalities they had. Math: We finished our Chapter on Place Value and took our test.
Bible: We practiced for our Nativity Play today! The students did a really great job with their parts. I will post the video soon! Important Information: 1. Christmas Break has started! School will start again on January 7th. 2. Kite Day and Parent Observation Day will be on Monday, January 14th. Parents are welcome to come and observe our class anytime between 8:30-10:30. Our kite flying time will be from 9:30-10:00. If you have any questions please let me know or check the email from Mrs. Roe. Mrs. Lyons Here's a look at our very full week! Reading: We learned how to ask the essential questions when reading a story: who, what, where, when, why and how. We got to meet our reading buddies in 5th grade for the first time and had a great time reading with them! Writing: We finished our letters to our Pen pal class in America and can't wait to hear from them in January! Math: We continued learning about place value and played some fun games to go along with our learning and got to eat some tasty treats to practice our place value. Bible: We learning about Jesus calling the disciples, and talked about how we can also bring our worries to the Lord. We have also been talking about Advent during this Christmas season and how Jesus brings us HOPE and LOVE. Farewell for Mrs. E: Today we sadly had to say good-bye to our fabulous TA, Mrs. E. We made her cards and prayed for her as she prepares to return to America. We will certainly miss her and are thankful for all her help in 2.2 this year! Important Information:
